There are rumors of getting the battle royale mode in Call Of Duty version. As there has been a big competition out there among the games based on the movie, Huger, like PUBG which has made a huge change in the gaming industry, and other games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, lots of people are getting attracted towards the Battle Royale genre.
Despite this competition, the Call of Duty already has the Multiplayer mode which is the paid game and not the Free to Play. But according to the rumors, the game is set to launch next year which will be free to play and it will not be an update but a standalone free to play version of the game where the battle royale will be introduced as other popular games.
According to the famous content creator LongSensation (embedded tweet) and the confirmation by the game creators and producers, the Battle Royale mode will be introduced soon in early 2020. If it's true then it's a very good move by Activision.
