Nvidia has been teasing its upcoming Geforce event for weeks now, and finally, they are going to unveil their new series of Geforce RTX 2080 on Monday. The worlds biggest gaming expo, Gamescom 2018, runs August 21 - 25. But before the show begins, NVIDIA will be hosting an event on August 20 loaded with new, exclusive, hands-on demos of the hottest upcoming games, stage presentations from the world’s biggest game developers, and some spectacular surprises. Also, there’ll be a livestreamed keynote.

The teaser video ends with flashes of a graphics card with a new cooler, backplate design, and shroud design. There are even GPS coordinates for Cologne in the Discord messages, and Nvidia unveils the date for its GeForce event by making the “2080” numbers rise up in order at the very end of the teaser.
Nvidia’s New Turning Architecture focuses on dedicated RT Cores for ray tracing, a technique that’s designed to improve lighting effects in games. Nvidia describes its new ray-tracing GPU as the biggest leap since CUDA back in 2006, so it’s likely that we’ll see how these new RT Cores make a difference in gaming next week. It’s possible that Nvidia may now introduce a new RTX series to complement its existing GTX GPUs.Nvidia will now have to demonstrate a variety of games that use ray-tracing to highlight the differences.

Specification

Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, and it claims that it will include 11GB of GDDR6 memory with 4352 CUDA cores. That’s more than 20% more than the existing 3584 CUDA cores found on the GTX 1080 Ti, and 70% more than the base GTX 1080. The improved memory bandwidth on GDDR6 will also mean this a very capable card. Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti is clearly powerful, but the base RTX 2080 is a more moderate boost over the GTX 1080.

Minimum System Requirements

The following datasheet lists the minimum system requirements for installing these new graphics cards:
- PCI Express-compliant motherboard with one dual-width ×16 graphics slot
- Two 8-pin supplementary power connector
- Minimum 650 W or greater system power supply
- 1.5GB available hard-disk space
- 8GB system memory (16GB or higher recommended)
- Microsoft Windows 10 (April 2018 Update or later), Windows 7 64-bit, Linux 64-bit
- Internet connection
And for the RTX 2080, the minimum system requirements is the same but there is a difference in the power connector. For the RTX 2080, you’ll need an 8-pin and a 6-pin supplementary power connector.

Pricing

RTX 2080 Ti listed for $1000 (Rs. 70,000) and RTX 2080 for $800 (Rs. 56,000) on PNY's website. If this is true then 2080 ti is little heavy on your pocket. It is aggressive pricing and probably you have to steal it(joke). But then it is a powerful flagship graphic card so people who have a budget will buy it no matter what. It is gaming focused graphics card and I think it will bring revolution in gaming.
