Skyesports Valorant Grand Slam Phase 2 starts on 30 April in Mumbai

Update (12:30 pm, 26 April): The event is not the Skyesports Grand Slam but a new one. Everything else remains the same however.

Skyesports Grand Slam Valorant Phase 2 starts on 30 April in Mumbai: Skyesports has finally revealed more details about its Grand Slam Phase 2, and it is going to be a LAN (!) in Mumbai. A total of four teams are participating in the tournament, out of which two were seeded from the Phase 1, and the remaining two were directly invited.

Participating Teams

  • Velocity Gaming (Invited)
  • Global Esports (Invited)
  • Enigma Gaming (Seeded)
  • Team Snakes (Seeded)

Team Snakes will not be able to join the LAN and they will participate online.

Schedule and Format

The Skyesports Grand Slam Phase 2 is set to begin on 30 April and will go on till 3 May 2022, as claimed by a caster for the event and further corroborated by our trusted sources. The four days will consist of the play-offs with the Grand Finals being on 3 May 2022.

The tournament's group stage will be in single round robin format (6 matches) and the top two teams will move to the Finals. All group stage matches will be best of 3, while the Grand Finale will be best of 5.

Attendance and Venue

The Skyesports Grand Slam Phase 2 LAN event might have a very small audience attendence, about 300, as per our reliable sources. More information regarding the Venue and audience capacity should be revealed today.

Prize Pool

The event has a total Prize Pool of 11,500 USD (approx 8,80,000 INR), which will be distributed among the teams and players in the following fashion.

  • First: 6,500 USD
  • Second: 2,500 USD
  • Third and Fourth: 1,000 USD each
  • MVP: 500 USD
