Square Enix's RPG, The Last Remnant to be de-listed from Steam

Square Enix’s 2009 JRPG, The Last Remnant, will be removed from Steam soon, on September 4th. As always, no worries to the players who owns the game digitally on the Steam, as you’ll be able to keep it forever.
First released in 2008, The Last Remnant is one of those RPGs, very few people played, but those that did mostly fell in love with. The spiritual successor to some of the SaGa series’ best ideas, The Last Remnant achieved some success on PC, but it seems like Square Enix is delisting the game in two weeks and it’s not entirely clear why.
The Last Remnant follows the story of Rush Sykes, a man on a mission to rescue his kidnapped sister, Irena. Before long, Rush finds himself wrapped up in a much bigger plot that involves mysterious artifacts from antiquity known as Remnants.
The Steam page read, “We will soon be discontinuing digital and physical sales of The Last Remnant on PC,” along with departure times by region.

Get it before it’s gone for good

Square Enix didn’t say why it’s removing The Last Remnant from circulation, but anyhow if you want to give a try to this RPG, wait no more as the game vanishes after September 4.

Xbox All Access Gets You An Xbox One, Xbox Live, And Game Pass For A Monthly Fee

Microsoft has announced Xbox All Access, a subscription service where the user gets an Xbox console along with two years of subscription to Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass. It bundles together everything you need to play on Xbox One. And it’s all included under one monthly payment.
The official Xbox website reads, “For no upfront cost and one low monthly price for 24 months, Xbox All Access gets you a new Xbox One S or Xbox One X, access to more than 100 great games through Xbox Game Pass, and online multiplayer with Xbox Live Gold. That’s more than 100 all-you-can-play games—including highly-anticipated new Xbox One exclusives the day they’re released, plus more games added all the time— the fastest, most reliable gaming network and an Xbox One console.”

Customers can get an Xbox One S with Xbox All Access at $21.99 per month or the Xbox One X with Xbox All Access at $34.99 per month. Both packages include 24 months of Gold and Game Pass, and each payment plan lasts for 24 months with no upfront cost and 0% APR.

Pay one fee FOR THE WHOLE XBOX ECOSYSTEM

At those prices, you can end up getting Xbox One S for $528 and Xbox One X for $840. At current prices, subscription to the services for 2 years and the cost of the console itself comes to about $660 for the Xbox One S and $860 for the Xbox One X.
Even though the price difference isn’t significant, it is the cost the user must pay per month vs the one-time lump sum payment which makes the difference. It is always easier to pay a smaller amount per month than a large lump sum at one go.
Xbox Game Pass will cover your gaming needs for a select library of third-party games, and every Microsoft first-party exclusive at launch. The company recently announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be joining the Game Pass line-up in September.

PlayStation 4 Game Sale: Last chance to seal the deal

Two weeks ago, a massive sale called Attack of the Blockbuster popped up on PlayStation Network. Tons of games including many major PS4 Exclusives are on discount. As usual PlayStation Plus members get additional savings. Well clock is ticking as the sale ends on August 28, so this is your last chance to seal the deal.
Let’s start with God of War, which is on sale for $40 or $35, if you’re a PS Plus member. That’s a great deal. Speaking of PS4 exclusives, Horizon: Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is on sale for just $16($12). And the massive JRPG Persona 5 is down to $35($30).

Nvidia RTX 2080 finally launched at Gamescom

So the much-awaited event of Nvidia is finally over and their new GPU is finally launched. NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang revealed the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and the RTX 2080 as the first set of graphics cards from the 20-series. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founder’s Edition will be priced at $1,199, the GeForce RTX 2080 Founder’s Edition will be priced at $799 and lastly, the GeForce RTX 2070 will be priced at $599.
Official Indian pricing for the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition is Rs.1,02,500. The GeForce RTX 2080 is selling for Rs.68,500 and the GeForce RTX 2070 is retailing at Rs.51,200

WHY RTX?

NVIDIA opted for the new RTX branding to promote the ray-tracing performance that the new RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070 is capable of. As for the lower members of the GPU family such as the 2060 and 2050, they’re expected to carry the GTX name because they don’t have that big of an improvement in terms of ray-tracing performance. Also, it should be noted that the real-time ray tracing capabilities are because of the new RT cores that are built into the new NVIDIA Turing GPUs.

So it turns out RTX 2080 is heavy on your pocket. Board partners will be selling their cards at much lower prices. But also keep in mind that this GPU is worlds most powerful GPU.

Pre-order has begun on 20 August 2018 for the new Turing based NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080 and 2070, customers will only be getting their cards starting from September 20th.
