Another big news coming up for PUBG players on console is that the devs are rolling out a major update. The new PUBG update is expected to bring various new features like the Ledge Grab.
The update has already rolled out for PC players on July 17, 2019. The battle royal game has finally decided to release the updates for Console. The release date is July 30 and downtime of 6-7 hours is expected for server maintenance. The updates for console are pretty much the same as of PC.
New Updates Are As Followed
BRDM 2: Armoured Vehicle
Players can call down an armor-plated amphibious assault BRDM-2 by using the Flare Gun! The beast can be called only outside the play zone, as like other vehicles. It can easily travel in waterways or terrain and has a health of 2500HP, twice as much as UAZ. It has the capacity of up to four players on board, and its top speed in water is 22km/h while it can go up to the speed of 102km/h when boosted.
Deagle: Pistol
The Deagle is a handgun that deals the strongest pistol damage. It can be found on all Maps and can be equipped with Red-dot and Holographic Sight. Deagle has a single fire mode type which uses .45 ACP ammo and the standard magazine fits 7 rounds. It can be extended to 10 rounds with an extended magazine.
Gameplay Updates
They have also introduced some major changes in the gameplay.
Radio Message
Radio Messages will keep you coordinated with every teammate, no matter what region you are in or the mic situation.
Ledge Grab
Find new ways to fight, jump, grab, get up, and go with our new Ledge Grab feature!
Ledge grab allows you to take new paths by climbing up the edge of roofs, fences, and obstacles up to 2.5 meters high, and jump from building to building or container to container.
Improved Gas Cans
Now gas cans can be blown up by shooting it. Four shots of Kar-98 blasted the can in our test. You can place the gas cans on strategic positions accordingly.
