Fortnite to soon get input-based matchmaking

In a state-of-development post yesterday, Epic Games has announced that Fortnite players who use a keyboard and mouse on PS4 will be paired against those using the same control scheme on PC or console.
It means the battle royale game will pair you against players who are using the same peripherals, for example, controller versus controller, keyboard and mouse versus keyboard and mouse.
Input based matchmaking isn’t a part of Fortnite yet. The Xbox One currently has no officially support for keyboard-and-mouse controls.
The matchmaking logic will detect controller input, and group players accordingly. Now, console players with keyboard and mouse input will be grouped up with players on PC, regardless of platform. However, the old rules still apply, in that if you’re partied up with a PC player, you’ll end up in the PC pool for matchmaking regardless of your input device. This is the official language:
If anyone in your party uses a mouse and keyboard on console, you will be matchmade with PC players and other KB+M players (as if you partied up with a PC player).
Epic Games has also announced plans to add some more nuance to matchmaking in order to circumvent unconventional control choices.

Here's why pubg is becoming so famous

Here's why PUBG is becoming so famous

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has risen up to become the most popular game and also one of the best titles for the year 2017. This game was developed by Bluehole which is a South Korean based game developer. And its still growing and people are loving it. With its new style of gameplay, the game was sure a different kind of experience for many gamers. Surviving till the last out of 100 players is something different and not a game that we usually play. So what is it exactly that has made the title to the top of the Steam leaderboards surpassing DOTA and CS: GO? Here are the reasons for the popularity of the game.

1. Gameplay

The first thing that was different in PUBG was its gameplay. This game requires skills as well as game sense. Everyone around is aiming for the same goal and you have to survive till the last using your own tactics and strategy. You have to constantly hunt and search around you for enemies and loot. The game is totally unpredictable and requires constant attention around you and this makes it exciting. Every decision you take in the game will affect you in some way. Even your slight footstep can make a big mistake.

2. Audience Everywhere

This game with a new concept, battle royale attracted everyone and within a short period of time, more than 20 million copies were sold.  And one of the reasons for this is Youtube Streamers. Many popular YouTubers started streaming this game day and night and ultimately this lead to reach a large number of audience. The game was pleasing to watch and fun to play for hours and this is one of the reasons for gathering more audience. Streamers loved it and viewers buy that.

3. Less Hackers

With fun comes the frustration of hackers. They ruin the fun. Popular games like CS: GO is full of hackers and you cannot deny that fact. At one point everyone stops playing CS: GO. But this was not the case with PUBG as they developed an anti-cheat system called BattlEye, which automatically bans someone who attempts to use cheats like aimbots or other hacks before they’re even able to use them in-game. The bans are permanent. It bans like 6000 players per day and so far they have banned more than 200,000 cheaters.

4. Constant Updates

PUBG is constantly working on new updates and keeping their customers satisfied. They are regularly updating their content, releasing new weapons, vehicles, weather updates. And also at the same time, optimizing the gameplay for better performance. This made PUBG players to engage with the game and try out something new. They are working on new servers to support more players joining PUBG every day. This keeps the players excited. The graphics looks dynamic and is a treat to your eyes and it keeps making you play more. Their option to customize their player appearance is also something to vote for.

5. Pubg Mobile

Yes, this is also one more reason why PUBG PC gained more attention. PUBG Mobile shares similar gameplay with same maps but little compromise in graphics. And not to mention it is a free game and all contents are available for free for download. It has aa simila gameplay, UI, mechanics but less number of skilled player. It was a noob friendly game and lots of people started playing. And this made many people to try out PUBG PC for more challenged ‘Chicken Dinner’. To experience better graphics and gameplay, users tried PUBG PC and got engaged. Over 50 million pubg pc was sold according to SteamSpy.

This game never required marketing due to streamers and with the highly active community, it made this game in one of the top-selling games within a short period of time. Near zero waiting time, you quickly enter a match and that is something not implemented in every multiplayer game out there. PUBG is also available for Xbox One and soon to available in PS4. This game is fun to watch as well as to play. It is satisfying and gives you a new challenges everytime you play. After all ‘Chicken Dinner’ is love.

Assassin's creed will take a year off!

Assassin's Creed Will Take a Year off!

CEO of Ubisoft, YvesGuillem has confirmed that there will no new Assassins Creed game for the year 2019.

Assassin Creed Origin was released last year and a year after that Assassin Creed Odyssey is still yet to be released in October. Ubisoft will now focus on their existing game and will bring more update on Odyssey on regular basis. Therefore there will be no new series for the year 2019.  And also odyssey will have a much longer gameplay compared to its previous series.

Also according to CEO of Ubisoft, there are two separate teams working on their existing games, so basically they are managing two games separately and they are not going to put another team for their new series. According to him, new content will keep coming for Odyssey and it will keep expanding over the year. Ubisoft is thinking to return in the year 2020. Ubisoft told this to Gamespot at Gamescom Germany.

Ubisoft will add free updates to Assassin’s Creed and provide a year-long service. Last year Ubisoft tried the same strategy but ended up the updates within 5 months. So it’s more of an argument that pushing online services is better or not.

Assassin's Creed Origins at a glance

As is evident by the very name, Assassins Creed Origins marks the origin of the Assassin brotherhood less commonly known as The Hidden Ones. It dates as back as 49 BCE making its timeline the oldest among the other games in the franchise. The game takes the Assassins Creed series back to the ancient Egypt during King Ptolemy’s reign, recounting the story of Bayek, the last Medjay, marking the beginning of the Creed.

The map is divided into two major regions namely, The Sinai Peninsula and Egypt. Egypt being further divided into numerous regions making the map as huge as 120 square kilometers. Like the other games in the franchise the game provides us with the facility to fast travel to certain locations to cope up with hugeness of the map. This has enabled the developers to introduce new game-play features including riding camels and horses on land and boats to travel on the waterways.

Just a few hours into the game and the beauty of ancient Egypt doesn’t go unnoticed. The map is filled with barren deserts featuring occasional sandstorms, huge rocky mountains most of which are climbable. Talking about synchronization points, it gets as breathtaking as it could. It recreates the Egyptian architecture in the most accurate way ranging from abandoned settlements, sacred pilgrims to breathtaking pyramids with synchronization points. There aren’t any shortage of secrets to be kept getting discovered. Tombs being the spots where the so called “secrets” can be discovered giving the game an adventurous touch. There are multiple cities to be explored each featuring a different culture, gods and architecture giving each of them a different face and making them distinct not just by their name but several different aspects.

The immersive game play is something that shouldn’t be missed out as far as the Assassins Creed franchise is concerned. Being an Assassins Creed game parkour is one of its most primary aspect. There’s a lot of parkour in the game which is pretty smooth. Bayek can climb his way through any way which would seem an obvious success for an Assassin. Talking about combat, its realistic and demands some skill in towards the beginning of the game owing to the low experience points which gradually gets better as we progress through the game. The variety of weapons that the game has to offer is enough to confuse the gamer, ranging from heavy weapons to lighter and agile ones. The choice depends all upon the gamer’s preference. The game doesn’t offer Black Flag like ship battles during free roam irrespective of the fact that it enables us to travel on waterway using boats but only during certain story missions.

The game portrays the protagonist as The Bayek of Siwa, a Medjay. Along with his wife, Aya who is also a Medjay work to protect the Pharaoh and the people of Egypt carrying out the very primary duties of a Medjay. It is in 49 BCE that Bayek and his son Khemu are abducted. Khemu helps his father escape but also gets accidentally stabbed by him in the chest by his father during his struggle to save Khemu. Bayek then dedicates himself in the quest to track down the one responsible for his son’s death.
