It's great news for all Valorant players in India and South Asia region as they will now get a low ping as compared to before and also a game company only invests in a region only if they see that its profitable and the community is rapidly growing there, which may lead to tournament organization for south Asia region which is really great and would help the community to grow and develop at a faster rate.

He also said that they are receiving great response from the region and especially the Indian community, which is great and keep it up guys, it's really great to seek appreciation at the international level.
They also mentioned that the aim is to pick great players from the region, so that they can also compete at global level. Great opportunity has arrived for us, make sure to take full advantage. This statement again confirms that, tournament(s) for the region are about to be announced. They also said that they would be looking forward to work with content creators, which means that its not only players who can get the benefit but the whole community can avail this.
WILD RIFT: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS MOBILE VERSION
While talking about Valorant, Pegu also mentioned Wild Rift (league of legends mobile version). He said that along with Valorant servers Riot is also planning for Wild Rift in this region. Though not much was revealed about the date of launch, etc., he did say that they are working on every aspect of the game so that the players can experience the exact game without any glitches and bugs and can get the best and positive experience, when they first play the game.
So, we can conclude that Riot is planning something great and good for the South Asia region, which will benefit all and would help the most to those gamers who want to pursue gaming as an occupation in the future.
