A Valorant bug has been discovered that renders Phoenix’s Curveball flash useless, with the flash not activating across certain corners across all maps.
f you use Phoenix as your main character and have noted your flashes aren’t registering properly, you are not a bad player, that's a bug. There’s a bug that has made the British Agent’s curveball practically useless and many players mad XD.
The bug is very easy to replicate and can happen at the most unfortunate times. If you throw your flash around a corner, there’s a chance that it won’t flash the enemies behind it. This can leave players exposed to retaliating fire and get you and your team screwed up.
Some players have stated that the issue has to do with ping. Players on different pings might not have the flash registered even though they are looking directly at it.
No matter the reason, losing your flash in this manner would be rather annoying. Given you have to invest 100 creds into each flash, having it not work properly could just be an infuriating waste of money and may even cost you your game.
Valorant developers are yet to comment on the bug, so it’s unclear as to whether a fix is being made or not and when would it be released, so just don't use flash till then or stop playing if you don't wish to blow off your mind.
There is some planned server maintenance going to take place on JULY 19, so maybe a fix for this bug will be rolled out.
So my advice would be to enjoy the game and not get irritated by the bug and have fun!!
