India's APAC Last Chance Qualifier representatives, Global Esports who won VAlorant Conquerors Cup South Asia, have appointed Josh "Shinobi" Abastado as their new VALORANT Coach on a temporary basis for the Asia-Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers for VALORANT Champions.
Ganesh "Skrossi" Gangadhar recently confirmed the news on his stream, after days of teasing Global Esports' fans. Bhavin "Hellranger" Kotwani has also confirmed the signing on twitter.
Ganesh also revealed that the coach has already been working with the team for 4 days dated today, and has contributed a fair bit. Josh does face time zone issues, living in the US, but they have managed to find a working compromise according to Skrossi.
Josh has played with and against numerous top players in NA, and has lots of experience from the Counter-Strike scene as well. He's a veteran of the scene, most well known for his recent stint on Cloud9 where played with big names like Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, Skyler "Relyks" Weaver, Daniel "vice" Kim and more. He has played countless games against the top competition in the world, in the VCT NA Challengers and has been a constant practice partner for the best teams in NA, if not, one of them.
Josh was cut from Cloud9 Blue after a disappointing series of results since their first step into VALORANT, and has played in a few mix teams since. Having played with the kinds of players he has, and the experience he has on the global stage, we can't wait to see what he offers to this dormant powerhouse of the Global Esports roster.
