PUBG Mobile Esports division has finally revealed the big plans to kickstart the next esports season of PUBG Mobile and one of the major regions in the PUBG Mobile ecosystem in South Asia. The scheduled format for the upcoming season of PUBG Mobile Pro League: South Asia Season 3 and PMCOs falling under it have been revealed today, 16 February 2021.
The tournament format will be pretty similar to what we have seen in the last past seasons but PMCO slots have been increased by the PUBG Mobile Management in many regions. A total of eight teams are invited to PMPL: South Asia Season 3. These teams were ranked in the top eight in the last season of PUBG Mobile Pro League. Twenty teams get to participate in the PMPL and out of it, the top 16 qualify to the next league stages. After the league is over, the grand finals are hosted where top teams gain a slot for global PUBG Mobile tournaments. The most consistently performing teams get a direct invite to tournaments like PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
South Asian teams can qualify for the PMPL by performing in four PMCOs held for their respective regions. The top three teams from PMCO Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh and the top two teams for PMCO South Asia Wildcard will get a slot for PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia.
