PS5 or PS - FLY :

By |

We're almost at the end of 2019 and good things seem to be coming to those who wait. Sony recently teased the PS5 console which has said to be the pathway to next-gen gaming.

Here are 7 things you need to know about the PS5:

1) The console doesn't look pretty, but it seems to get the job done:

I know everyone is gonna rage on me for this, but we got to admit that the console does look like a toilet seat, giving its futuristic design comes in the shape of a 'V-shaped hovering space ship' . Images have been leaked on the internet and we're still not sure about how it looks at the E3 of 2020.

2) PS5's release date:

Not much has been known about the release date of PS5. The word is that it will be released in the latter months of 2020. But Sony has safely confirmed that it would be at home for Christmas 2020.

3)PS5's backward compatibility - you can play your PS4 games on PS5!!! :

Now no need to worry about buying new CD's or changing your console, cause the PS5 supports PS4 games and sounds relieving. Now you can bring back your favorite PS4 games such as 'Last of us' , 'Horizon Zero Dawn' , 'Metal Gear Solid 5' and 'Red Dead Redemption 2'.

4)PS5's Boost mode:

Now just like we had a boost mode for PS4, where the visual quality evolved from 480p to 1080p 4K graphics in the PS4 Pro, we might be expecting something similar in PS5 but for them to have a boost which may not involve any hardware or price hikes seems to be too good to be true, but you never know…

5)PS5 specs - The most powerful console so far:

For beginners, it will compete with an advanced AMD Ryzen processor along with a GPU of AMD Navi with architectural ray tracing features that are available only in the most high-end gaming rigs and will support 8K graphics this time. The PS - VR will not be having any new features which are good to hear as it will be compatible with the PS5 as is when purchased. It will also feature a specialized HDD which will run games 19 times faster than the present consoles. The PS5 is bridging gamers by involving features such as backward compatibility and cross-generational play. So now you don't have to play alone anymore.

6)PS5's cloud gaming - Sony and Microsoft teaming up against Google:

Now one of Sony's weakness was the fact that you always had to build a gaming library from scratch but now the problem ends here as Sony and Microsoft are teaming to stream games from the cloud on Microsoft's Azure platform. This will also include better development platforms for the developer and gaming community.

7)PS5 games announced :

The recent years Play station's games have been dominating the gaming industry and with now Sony buying insomniac games, we will be expecting Marvel's Spider-man. Rachet and clank and the likes of resistance will always be included. Horizon Zero Dawn's sequel will likely be appearing soon and with the latest ray tracing technology and Guerrilla games visual ambition, this game is definitely gonna be a feast to the eyes. Upcoming we have Kojima's Death Stranding which is not very surprising as it demands your attention and the latest graphics of the present gen to meet its expectations. The last of us 2 by Naughty Dog will not go without competition because of it's attention to detail and convincing storyline which is a necessity for the PS5. And let's not forget Square Enix's epic venture of the Final Fantasy 7 remake which will arrive in March of 2020 for the PS5.

Now that's a lot for hype for a console that's just a year away from release but we're sure that it will not fail to impress.
