Who are Blackpink?

BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment. The quartet consists of JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA. BLACKPINK had captured the hearts of audiences from the moment they released their debut single [SQUARE ONE] in August 2016. Since then, they have turned every single release, such as “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love”, into hit songs, making their foray into global superstardom. Spurred by this success, BLACKPINK became the first female K-pop band invited to perform at Coachella in 2019, the largest music festival in the U.S.

In 2019, they successfully finished a world tour spanning 23 cities, 4 continents, 32 shows, and 4 Japanese dome tours. In October 2020, BLACKPINK had released their first full album “THE ALBUM”, topped prominent music charts, and was recognized by numerous prestigious awards. The band's global influence keeps growing, and it is shown with their recent collaborations with international pop artists such as Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, and Selena Gomez. BLACKPINK had completed their first live stream concert, “THE SHOW” on YouTube on Jan 31, 2021, with success. Now following JENNIE and ROSÉ, the other members' solo projects are underway.
