Ubisoft Entertainment is a French-based video game company that is widely known for its unique video games. It is placed among the top publicly traded game companies in the world and owns various game franchises such as Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and many others.
Recently the firm has stepped into the world of Battle Royale and Ubisoft has been teasing a game that got leaked about a few days back. Hyperscape has risen to the top charts of Twitch. The game recently went live in a technical phase where several YouTubers and Streamers were asked to start streaming the game. Interestingly, it reached over a million views in just an hour!
Earlier, Riot’s Valorant received a similar welcome from the gaming community. It is clear that the mindset of developers working on both games was the same. They want their respective games to receive an organic appeal, unlike the games with huge budgets.
Hyperscape has not revealed a concrete release date as Ubisoft is still busy figuring out about the game. It is uncertain whether any of the streamers did a paid promotion of the game by playing it on their channels.
But Turner “Tfue” Tenney, best known for playing Fortnite, is solely attracting about 50K viewers on his channel. The approach that Ubisoft is heading with is seeming to work quite effectively. Also, many other streamers are doing well in attracting players towards the new battle royale.
Until now, we can only say that Ubisoft will be placing this game in beta for the next couple of weeks. Once they are ready with Hyperscape, we will surely see it in action! Stay tuned with us for fore leaks and updates about it.
