Debanjan 'Deathmaker' Das has surprisingly announced that he's joining GodLike Esports as their Valorant player today. While he has not retired from CS:GO yet, he is focussing on Valorant currently.
Deathmaker, considered the 'Best FPS aimer' of the country by many, shakes hands with GodLike Esports and is ready to play for them in the upcoming Valorant tournaments. This switch has caught many by surprise. The GodLike Esports Valorant team was announced exactly one month ago, and they bring in a banger addition today for the fans to celebrate.
Deathmaker, one of the best CS:GO players of the country used to enjoy playing Valorant tournaments simultaneous to his CS:GO career, and had never really retired from CS:GO. Recently his contract with Global Esports had ended, but didn't retire from the game yet, rather took a 'break' he says. Even though he had played and won a lot in Valorant with teams GodSquad and Global Esports, he was set to join a foreign, undisclosed organisation to play CS:GO for, and had the fans waiting for the announcement. But days went by and it seems the plan has changed and he is totally focused on Valorant now.
Here's the official announcement from GodLike Esports:
All these days, players did fear to play against the aiming beast, when he wasn't even playing Valorant professionally. Now that he is, this changes the game totally. Yet, something remains uncertain. Deathmaker sure has some spicy plans for the future as he announced the following in his social media:
"...I'd like to thank Global Esports for giving me their best and believing in me. Unfortunately, our journey takes different paths here. Whether they will collide again, I don't know. What I know is that both GE and I will have the best interests for each other in our minds. As for me now? It's time to take a break from CSGO. More to follow soon. Stay tuned. "
We wish Deathmaker all the best for this new journey, hope he and his team achieves greatness!
