Velocity Gaming was eyeing Deathmaker from as back as 11 July 2021, our sources had revealed. The official announcement of Deathmaker joining Velocity Gaming is expected to be made tomorrow, 8 September 2021.
New Valorant roster of Velocity Gaming
- Anuj 'Amaterasu' Sharma (might become coach)
- Tejas 'rite2ace' Sawant
- Vibhor Vaid
- Sagnik 'Hellff' Roy
- Agneya 'Marzil' Koushik
- Mohit 'mw1' Wakle
- Debanjan 'DeathMaker' Das
Velocity Gaming is already among the best teams in South Asia. The addition of Deathmaker would certainly make VLT the team with the highest firepower.
Amaterasu might retire from the active roster
Our sources tell us that Anuj 'Amaterasu' Sharma might be looking to retire from the professional scene and Velocity Gaming might be considering him for the coach's position. He is the big-brain behind the team after all.
The retirement of Amaterasu will most probably make rite2ace the IGL of the team.
Deathmaker is an Indian Valorant player who switched over from CSGO. Back in CS days, DeathMaker had played for JMD Gaming, Entity Gaming, Signify, Orgless5ive. He switched over to Valorant when he was in Global Esports, and then joined Godlike Esports. DeathMaker has the experience of playing for so many teams that he will surely bring both firepower and experience to the VLT roster.
