G2 Esports was one of the top teams in the EU Valorant scene for a long time. They won a total of 7 tournaments in a row to solidify themselves as one of the strongest if not the strongest teams in Valorant. As on now, G2 Esporst has released 3 of it's players which marked the end of the G2 era.

G2 Esports began to fall from their rankings after suffering a loss to Team Heretics in the First Strike Finals which marked an end to their winning streak. The release of David "Davidp" Prins and replacing him with Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt helped them a little bit as they seemed to be getting back in form. But even this roster change couldn't help G2 to climb back up to the top.

It looks like G2 Esports followed the likes of NA's Luminosity gaming and TSM by making these early roster changes to make themselves ready for the VCT Masters 3 which is scheduled in September 2021 in Berlin.

As per a report from1pv.fr, Auni "AvovA" Chahade and Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas are possible replacements alongside Jose "koldamenta" Luis Aranguren, who has just been released from Acend.

As of now, the G2 Esports Valorant Lineup looks like:

  •  Oscar "Mixwell" Cañellas
  •  Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi
  •  Maik "MaikTurtle" Löffler (Manager)
  •  Neil "neilzinho" Finlay (Coach)
  •  Lucas "LRojo" Rojo (Analyst)
