Krafton announces Freedom Face-off tournament to celebrate Indian Independence day: To officially celebrate the 75th Independence Day in India, Krafton has announced an esports event called ‘Freedom Face-off.’ The tournament will be held on 15th August, featuring 16 teams competing for a prize pool of Rs 1.5 Lakh.

The official video, uploaded on their Instagram page and Youtube channel, suggested that the event occurs at noon on 15th August. This event is planned to pay tribute to our Indian Bravehearts.
The tournament will be streamed on the official Youtube and Facebook channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India. It will be interesting to see our favorite teams competing against each other for the prize pool.
Earlier, with the launch of BGMI in India, Krafton had hosted the first-ever BGMI community event called ‘The Launch Party,’ where popular BGMI streamers compete against each other for a prize pool of 6 lakhs. This event broke their previous viewership records, with a peak watching of 500k. Securing four chicken dinners consecutively, Team Snax had won the tournament.
