Martin “Magnum” Peňkov has just signed a new contract with Fnatic until 2024 after four months of playing under the Fnatic banner. He and Derke are one of the main reasons for the team's success and second place finish at the VCT Masters 2: Reykjavik. Although the team is not in a good state right now, MAGNUM's contract signing shows that the players still believe in the project and are still willing to continue and try to reach greater heights under the Fnatic banner.
MAGNUM mains Sentinels and Initiators like Cypher, Killjoy and Skye and frags just as hard as duelists like Derke on his team. His sheer confidence is one of the main reasons why he is so good at what he does. Although most Valorant professional players were former FPS gamers/professional players, MAGNUM was a professional RUST player! FNC Boaster revealed that MAGNUM has over 10,000(ten thousand) hours on RUST.
Fnatic failed to even qualify for the playoffs for VCT Stage 3: Berlin. The players now just have to reflect on their mistakes and keep on grinding the game to make it to Valorant Champions, and with these new contract signings it is safe to believe that the team still has the competitive spirit to win all the future VCT tournaments.
