Broken Fang adds a new Retakes mode that's available for all players, which pits three terrorists against four counter-terrorists for eight rounds, with weapons chosen from a loadout card each round. Those with the Operation Pass also get access to the competitive Broken Fang premier mode, and an Operation Stats page collecting their personal statistics complete with heat maps and win rates broken down per map.
There are seven new maps and an Operation Shop that sells rewards in exchange for spending 'operation stars' that are earned by completing weekly missions. It sells graffiti, patches, stickers, weapon collections, a new weapon case, and agents themed around a SWAT team and a criminal crew called The Professionals.
The accompanying patch also adds a contextual ping system accessed via a customizable chat wheel.
Broken Fang comes with many new ways for fans to interact with the game and includes the popular evolving Operation coin. Users can upgrade their coin by completing weekly missions and objectives. But there's much more to come alongside the coin in what is the game's biggest operation ever. Danger Zone now has a new map called Frostbite for players who enjoy CSGO's battle royale action. Alongside Frostbite, Valve has introduced seven new maps to Counter-Strike, including the Aztec-inspired Ancient.
Players will no longer have to rely on third-party services to track their statistics as long as they purchase the pass, according to the game's official launch information. All operations prior to Shattered Web allowed players to track their competitive statistics by using the pass' journal option. Although missing from Shattered Web, Valve has put on the polish for Broken Fang and integrated statistical tracking into CSGO's UI. While Valve has kept track of almost all of player’s stats for some time, Broken Fang's integration will include heat maps, separate stats for each mode, and more, according to screenshots.
Broken Fang comes with a batch of new agents for players to acquire and customize, as well as three new collections and an operations case through which players can earn new skins for almost all of CSGO's deadliest weapons. These cases are acquired through completing weekly missions or by purchasing stars for random rolls at the game's newest skins.
