Team Elite win GG1 Free Fire Weekend Wars 2.0

Team Elite has been placed first in the GoodGame1 Free Fire Weekend Wars 2.0 concluded yesterday, 21 December 2020. The team will pocket the mammoth’s share of the Rs. 2,00,000 prize pool.

The GG1 Weekend Wars 2.0 happened on Dec. 19 and 20. Before the matches began on both days, the GG1 Weekend Wars Show featuring personalities from the gaming scene was aired. On day one, Zerxes Wadia was joined by TSM.Entity’s manager Sid Joshi and prominent streamer Shagufta "Xyaa'' Iqbal. The second day featured popular YouTubers, Aura Gaming and Ankitta C.

The GG1 Weekend Wars is powered by Halo Masks. WD_BLACK are the storage partners, MX Player is the online streaming partner, Reward Port is the loyalty partner while Question What’s Real is the immersive tech partner.


The GG1 Free Fire Weekend Wars had to go to the final match to decide the champions. Team Elite got just 97 placement points, the eighth-most by any team in the overall scoreboard. It was the 138 kills they picked up across 12 matches on Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari, however, which pushed them to first place.

Team Elite will get Rs. 1,00,000. Elite's Killer FF, who managed 23 kills, was adjourned the MVP of the competition. He will receive an additional Rs. 20,000. Trailing not far behind in second place was Mafia Esports. The team managed 94 kills and 132 position points to get to 226 total points, just nine behind the table toppers, Team Elite. Nonetheless, they will get Rs. 50,000. The third-placed team, Team NBA will also get Rs. 30,000.
