PUBG Mobile stars Team S8UL are participating in the Free Fire Titan Invitational, starting 16 January 2021.
Free Fire esports in India has been constantly gaining momentum in India since PUBG Mobile got banned. We saw a big number of Free Fire tournaments being organized in 2020. Garena Free Fire has already introduced their esports roadmap in India for 2020 too.
The uncertainty with PUBG Mobile being relaunched, and Free Fire already gaining so much popularity, has forced a majority of PUBG Mobile pros to switch to Free Fire. After almost every other esports organization that played PUBG Mobile, Team S8UL too has jumped in the massive Free Fire circuit.
While there were speculations being made already that S8UL could get a Free Fire roster, it was only confirmed today by Garena Free Fire themselves. Free Fire Titan Invitational tournament starts on 16 January 2021, and Free Fire introduced Team S8UL on Instagram today.

The Free Fire Titan Invitational Cup is the first Free Fire tournament in India for 2021. It is scheduled to be played on 16 January and 17 January 2021. The event will be played among 12 invited teams in two modes and boasts a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 INR.
On 16 January, the invited groups will play the Conflict Squad Mode, which has a prize pool of Rs. 5,00,000 INR. The winner of Day 1 will get 60% of the full prize pool, which is, Rs. 3,00,000.
On 17 January invited groups will participate within the Squad Battle Royale mode, which will decide the winner of Prize pool Rs. 20,00,000. The winner of Day 2 will get 50% of the prize pool, which is Rs.10,00,000.
