The Esports Club(TEC) are back with a new big Valorant event that is going to run throughout this year. They have announced LG Ultragear TEC Challenger Series Powered by JBL Quantum Gaming Headsets & AMD. The tournament will be open to India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka.
Who are The Esports Club?
The esports club is a Bangalore based Indian gaming organization that specializes in organizing gaming events throughout the year.
According to Sukamal Pegu, Publishing Head (Southeast Asia) at Riot Games, Valorant is being brought to India with a clear roadmap and genuine support. India, along with other South Asian countries is touted to get their own servers later during this year. Building upon the experience from the most successful esports title, League of Legends, and developing on the shortcoming of competitors like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Riots Games are aiming to make Valorant a globally accepted shooter title and establish themselves in FPS category.

TEC have announced this series yesterday (7/8/2020) and they talk about how overwhelming the support from the Valorant community has been and that is why they have decided to announce not one, but five Valorant tournaments this year taking place on August, September, October, November, and December.
