After the Indian government banned Tencent operated PUBG Mobile on the grounds of data privacy, the whole country was demanding PUBG Corp. to bring the mobile version of the game back. And now, the company has delivered the good for the Indian fans.

In light of recent developments, PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer authorize the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India, although Tencent was already in talks with the Indian government. Instead, they will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country with some Indian companies. Well, this means that the mobile version of the game will be unbanned very soon. The PUBG Corp. has also promised a healthy gameplay experience in India.


People playing the Chinese version of the game, Game of Peace, also got a notification about this, which confirms the news.

Adding further PUBG Corporation said that they fully understand and respect the measures taken by the government. They also added that the players' privacy and data security is their top priority. PUBG Corp hopes to work hand-in-hand with the Indian government to find a solution that will allow gamers to once again drop into the battlegrounds while being fully compliant with Indian laws and regulations.
