GoodGame1 announces the GG1 Weekend Wars featuring top content creators and teams battling across six game titles

The total prize pool for the GG1 Weekend Wars is 11,50,000 in cash and freebucks.

GoodGame1 has announced the GG1 Weekend where top content creators and teams will battle across six different game titles. GoodGame1 is a media and entertainment company founded with the goal of being the single destination for esports in India.

The titles include Valorant, Call of Duty: Mobile, Fortnite, CS:GO, Rainbow Six: Siege and Free Fire.

It will be held on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for two weeks between Dec. 11 and Dec. 20. In the first week, we will see players battling out in Valorant, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Fortnite. The second week will see teams clashing in CS: GO, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Free Fire.

Here are more details about the format, schedule, and participating creators/teams in this event:

Valorant:

Eight of India’s most notable content creators i.e. Snax Gaming, Ankkita C, Mili kya Mili, RonaK, Psy Gaming, Sikhwarrior, HydraFlick, and Mavi will be the captains of a Valorant Team. Each captain’s team will have four more players consisting of other prominent personalities from the esports scene such as Aurum, iMazik, Daljitsk, and haiVaan. The teams will compete on Dec. 11, 12, and 13 through qualifiers and eliminators to make it to the finals where a champion will be crowned. Matches will begin at 11 am IST on each day. The total prize pool for the Valorant tournament is ₹3,00,000. Of this, ₹1,50,000 is in cash while ₹1,50,000 is in free bucks.

Call of Duty: Mobile

The GG1 Call of Duty: Mobile Weekend Wars will feature eight of the best teams from the region. This includes the 2020 CODM World Championship Finalists Team Mayhem along with S8UL, GodLike, Reckoning Esports, 8th Wonder, Force1, Team IND, and BLIND Esports. The matches will be played from 3 pm IST and will be a best of 3 in search and destroy game mode. The prize pool for Call of Duty: Mobile is ₹1,50,000. Of this, ₹75,000 is in freebucks while ₹75,000 is in cash.

Fortnite

It will be played on Dec. 11, 12, and 13 from 7 pm IST onwards. The top 48 duos from India will play four matches per day for a total of 12 matches. The prize pool for Fortnite is ₹2,00,000 in cash and freebucks. Of this, ₹1,00,000 is in cash while ₹1,00,000 is in freebucks.

CS:GO

The eight best Counter-Strike rosters from the country will battle across three days on Dec. 18, 19, 20. Matches will begin at 11 am IST on each day. The prize pool for CS: GO is ₹1,50,000 in cash and freebucks. Of this, ₹75,000 is in cash while ₹75,000 is in freebucks. The teams will be announced later.

Rainbow Six Siege

It will be played through December 18, 19, 20. Eight of India’s best Rainbow Six teams will battle it out through several rounds of matches to make it to the finals where a champion will be crowned. The matches will begin at 3 pm IST on each day. The prize pool for Rainbow Six is ₹1,50,000 in cash and freebucks. Of this, ₹75,000 is in cash while ₹75,000 is in freebucks. Teams will be announced at a later date.

Free Fire

Twelve of India’s best Free Fire squads will battle it out on Dec. 19 and 20 from 7 pm IST onwards to decide the winners. Six matches will be played per day on Bermuda, Kalahari, and Purgatory for a total of 12 matches. It has a prize pool of ₹2,00,000 in cash and freebucks. Of this, ₹1,00,000 is in cash while ₹1,00,000 is in freebucks. Participating teams will be announced later.
