Krafton announces Battlegrounds Mobile India Series with a massive prizepool of 1,00,00,000 INR: From PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India, this battle royale game revitalises and uplifts the esports scene in India. With every year, the esports scenario is growing bigger in India. As they have teased during the launch party, they have revealed the biggest BGMI esports tournament- Battlegrounds Mobile India series, with a massive prize pool of 1 crore.
For the first time, Krafton is going to host an esports tournament in India. Before the PUBG Mobile ban, all official LAN and online tournaments are managed by Tencent. With the launch of BGMI, Krafton has received an overwhelming response- more than 15 million active users and a total of 34 million in-game users.
About Battlegrounds Mobile India Series
We had already revealed the details of the Battlegrounds Mobile India series before the official announcement. The BMIS is an open-for-all tournament that will continue for three months.
The total 1 Crore prizepool will be distributed as follows-
- First Place – Rs 50,00,000
- Second Place – Rs. 25,00,000
- Third Place – Rs. 10,00,000
- Fourth Place – Rs. 3,00,000
- Fifth Place – Rs. 2,00,000
Also, there are individual cash prizes for MVP; Lone ranger and other titles. More announcements regarding this will be made in future.
How To Register?
Battlegrounds Mobile India series registration will open for players from 19th July 2021. You can register yourself and your squad within the game, and to participate, you should have a squad, with all players having an account above level 15 and Platinum V.
