PUBG Corporation is all set to launch a new 8.2 patch notes update with a huge change in the game. This new update will bring a lot of firepower in the battleground. The Patch 8.2 will release on August 19 for PC and August 27 for PS4, Xbox One and Stadia. Some of these changes include visual improvements too for a better experience.

New Weapon- MG3
It will be a brand new semi-machine gun in the Battlegrounds Care Package. You can grab it from the Care Packages in all the maps under the Normal Mode. We will still need to wait for its domination in Ranked matches. It will possess two different firing rates where you can switch between 660 rpm and 990 rpm, depending upon the situation. It fires 7.62 mm ammo and can hold upto 75 rounds in a single magazine.
As it has a muzzle velocity of 820 m/s, an attached bipod is provided for better stability that activates automatically on proning. Tracer rounds get activate every 5th shot and for the last 10 rounds that can be only seen by the shooter itself. It enables you to keep a track of your aim and reminds you about reloading. The most important aspect of this gun is its more damage dealing ability to vehicles. It will cause 1.25x more damage while firing at vehicles. It will be worth fighting for that big red box.
New Throwable- Decoy Grenade
This will change the fighting tactics completely for the game. You can now distort your enemy attention and cover your movements with the all new Decoy Grenade. This grenade will not deal any damage to your opponents but will create a firing sound effect. For the time being, these are only available on the Sanhok map as a rare item.
Decoy Grenades will create fake firing sounds to distract your enemies from your actual location. They can also be cooked and thrown like simple classic grenades in the game. They will be activate for 10 seconds and it’s enough time to make your move. For pretending more like gun shots, shells are ejected along with the sound. Beware that they are not waterproof and gets demolished if thrown in water.
Addition of Erangel Docks
Erangel is the oldest and yet the most loved map of PUBG. Every change in it is always considered to be a major one. The newest addition in Erangel is of four dock locations. To be precise, two docks are added to existing wharves, one at Novorepnoye and the last one at Ferry Pier. You can now land their with your squad and have better loot options.
Earlier there were 4 slots in the Throwable Wheel that has been upgraded to 6 slots. The first four slots are still fixed for your Frag Grenades, Molotov Cocktail, Smoke Grenades and Stun grenades. The last two slots are dynamic where you can choose between Sticky bomb, C4, Decoy Grenade or the Spike Trap.
