According to the newly released information, Velocity Gaming have added new aqcuisition Mohit "mw1" Wakle to their roster for the TEC Gauntlet Season 1, post-roster lock. They will be allowed to play with mw1 but will face a fine of 20% of the total earnings from TEC Gauntlet S1.
In a tweet dated 18th of June, Mansoor "Nabu" Ahmed said:
"Team Velocity Gaming has received and accepted a 20% fine of total prize money winnings for season 1 as a result of this change after the roster lock."
Mohit "mw1" Wakle is an established Jett player of the region, one of best in India. Having been picked up recently to replace Marzil in the VCC tournament, it looks like mw1 will be playing the rest of TEC Gauntlet as well. It is interesting to see how Agneya "Marzil" Koushik is going to continue in the team, and when he will return, if this change brings success to Velocity Gaming.
