The most awaited event of the TI10 Dota 2 battle pass is the summer event. Everyone gets so excited about this because we didn't get a game mode like Siltbreaker since 2017. Every year we have been expecting something similar to that. But we have been getting disappointed throughout the past 2 years. It is a long wait since we got something good from Valve the last time as an event. The release date about the summer event of the battle pass was something that no one was aware of. Valve didn't give any update since the release of the battle pass about the event.
People had their predictions about the release date of the summer event, what it is going to be and for how long it is going to last. We even had our own and we were not wrong about it!
Wykrhm reddy has been teasing about the release of the summer event in his official twitter page lately several times. Initially, he posted an overview of the summer event. He also posted a clip about the new glowing effect of the Aghanim's scepter giving clear hints about the mage's forthcoming. You can find it here:

Then, finally last night The Dota 2 Battle Pass summer event has been released! The wait is over. Aghanim’s Labyrinth is here!
The Summer Event of the Dota 2 Battle Pass has been just released! Are you ready to take up the role of Dota 2 universe's most powerful mage?
Aghanim, the powerful sorcerer who was the root of the famous Scepter of Aghanim, returns to Dota 2 with some of the mightiest multi-dimensional creatures to test the supremacy of every hero.
From now, players may pair up with three of their friends or team up with a party to explore the Aghanim Labyrinth and fight various rooms full of strong enemies. No Battle Pass is required to compete in the Summer Event.
Players are able to pick their course through the maze, which ensures that at each step you must choose the beasts you need to kill to go on. During your quest, you must even gather the pieces of the broken Aghanim's Scepter that you will use to improve the skills of your chosen hero.
When you enter the deepest point in the labyrinth, you must meet the Apex Mage who used to possess a demi-god 's strength. Even if you succeed in beating Aghanim, harder obstacles are waiting for you to return to the labyrinth in the future.
Those harder tasks are called Ascension Levels, which after each successful run escalates the difficulty of the labyrinth. There are four Ascension Levels, each awarding exclusive rewards such as a talk wheel voice line with an Aghanim theme.
Each run in the labyrinth will let you use Arcane Fragments to power up your heroes with Blessings, which will carry over regardless of whether you fail to complete the labyrinth. Players will get a three-time multiplier on the initial 1800 Arcane Fragments they receive at the first try of each week.
Battle Pass owners playing in the Aghanim's Labyrinth experience will gain up to 2,000 Battle Points per week.
There will also be a randomly created maze connected to a global leaderboard once a week where all players will try to complete. Aghanim himself would grant exclusive awards on the quickest and most popular parties. Here's what you will receive in respect to your placement:
Tier One: Aghanim’s Inter-dimensional Baby Roshan
Tier Two: Waterlogged Kunkka Shoes
Tier Three: Random Arcana
Tier Four: In-Game Aghanim’s Effect
