Your Activision account might be in danger of being hacked as 500,000 accounts have been hacked and made inaccessible to users by hackers. Hopefully, if you are safe, we recommend a password change as quick as you can!
How to change your Call of Duty Warzone account password
Changing your password is very easy and can be done in a few steps:
Step 1: Find the Activision recovery page

Step 2: Enter the email address linked to your account
Enter your email address which you used to make your account.
Step 3: Check your email, the procedures will be sent.
After the email sent message has been displayed, check your email and find one from Activision support.
Step 4: Follow the link in the email
After opening the email, you will see a link which will be active for 24 hours only through which you can change your password.
Step 5: Enter your new password
Enter your new password according to these requirements:
- Must be between 8 and 20 characters long.
- Must contain at least one letter and one number.
- May not contain sequential characters (e.g. ABC, 123, jkl).
- May not repeat the same character (e.g. XX, aa, 33)
