Damian "daps" Steele after shifting from CSGO to Valorant has been with Team NRG. The team showed some moments of brilliance with S0m as their star player. After months of working hard and still coming short to other NA giants like Sentinels, 100 Thieves etc, NRG daps has finally decided to step down from the team and also retire from competitive play.
daps tweeted "It's been no secret to the people around me that I just don't enjoy playing anymore which was the main reason to my choice. Should have news regarding my future plans soon! Best of luck to @texerino@777eeiu@ANDROIDX23 and @s0mcs in trying out a replacement for me!" after NRG Twitter made the announcement.
daps along with Chet "Chet" Singh joined NRG Valorant team in early October 2020 and built the team from scratch. daps was a part of many successful rosters in CSGO like GenG, NRG etc. where he similarly built entire teams from scratch and made them capable of competiting with the best of the best.
