- PUBG Corporation takes publishing rights into their hands
- PUBG Mobile might come back to India
There have been many rumors and news about PUBG Mobile coming back to India. But suddenly today, everything is going to have a full stop in the end. In other words, the tables have turned and PUBG Mobile’s official page posted something that will end this discussion forever. According to the announcement, the Tencent Games have decided to terminate and stop all the services of PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite in India for the players from 30th October 2020
We are certainly sure that this step is taken due to the Indian Government’s decision of banning PUBG in India way back on 2nd September under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act 2009. But still, after the news, the game was running quite smoothly with just minor network issues. The servers in India were working fine for all the players.

PUBG Mobile will Shut Down the Servers from 30th October in India
PUBG Corporation is now taking some serious steps to bring back PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite in India. Tencent no more has any publishing rights for the game and the developers will now work directly with the Indian Government. They will come up with a suitable solution to tackle this issue and will create better opportunities for players in the country.
Their statements are supported by the LinkedIn job post which shows their vision. They are planning to set up an operation center within India and are actively looking for Corporate Development Division Manager.

Good News for PUBG Fans?
For all those who got dis-heartened after reading this, let us give you some good news. As you know, PUBG Mobile is developed by Krafton Game Union that comes under a South-Korean company- Bluehole. To promote this game worldwide, the publishing rights were given to a Chinese company Tencent Games.

After the Indian Government’s decision to ban PUBG mobile, Bluehole removes Tencent Gaming from its ally and decided to take publishing rights under their own control.
This means that now Tencent has to do nothing with the game and PUBG is all set to join hands with the Indian Govt. There is now a chance that we might see the game’s Indian version. This will be much similar to the original game and launched in the country. This leaves the whole gaming community in joy and they can finally celebrate after a long time.
