Both the teams seemed evenly matched from the get-go! Ghost Gaming looked to struggle a bit in the first map, Ascent as they lost the first half with a 3-9 scoreline. But they managed to make a comeback in the second half and push FaZe Clan into overtime. FaZe Clan closed the map at 14-12 scoreline. The second map, Bind was a pretty interesting one. BabyJ who mainly plays Sentinel agents like Cypher and Killjoy, played Breach. He supported FaZe BABYBAY the entire match by flashing corners just before BABYBAY's Jett dashed in for some early-round kills to gain map control. FaZe Clan won the map and the series at a 13-11 scoreline.

FaZe corey was the match MVP with a 257 ACS and 42 kills to his name while Ghost NiSMO was the team MVP with 221 ACS and 39 kills to his name.

DarkZero Esports vs. TSM

It looks like TSM are finally back as they won the series in a 2-1 fashion and managed to secure their spot in the VCT Main Event. On the first map, Haven even though Subroza was popping off in the first few rounds, DZ managed to make a comeback and won the map at 13-11 scoreline. The second map, Ascent was where TSM looked like they were in control of the pace of almost all the rounds. TSM bang on Reyna and TSM WARDELL Oping on Sage proved to be a great decision as they won the map at 14-12 scoreline. On the third map, Icebox hazed's igling really kicked in as they just dominated the second half of the map. TSM won the map and the series at 13-8 scoreline.

Although DarkZero Esports lost, DZ Andersin was the match MVP with 248 ACS and 61 kills to his name while TSM SUbroza was the team MVP with 236 ACs and 62 kills to his name.

T1 vs BBG

T1 dominated BBG as they seemed to be able to read everything BBG were doing or trying to do. T1 won Icebox and Ascent at a convincing 13-9 scoreline on both the maps. T1 autimatic on Jett managed to get early openings by aggressive peeking and giving his team map control whilst putting pressure on BBG.

Cloud9 Blue vs. Luminosity Gaming

Luminosity Gaming bulldozed Cloud9 Blue as they won both Ascent and Icebox at a 13-9 scoreline. LG YaBoiDre on Reyna was something to behold! His aggressive picks gave his team an advantage from the start. His B-main push on Ascent resulted in him killing C9B leaf at Attackers(Cloud9 Blue's spawn) spawn made even the casters go crazy!

LG YaBoiDre was the match MVP with 324 ACs and 51 kills to his name while C9B poiz was the team MVP with 253 ACS and 38 kills to his name.
