VCC schedule Valorant: NODWIN Gaming reveals schedule, prize pool, and more: VCC (Valorant Conquerors Championship) is the only possible way for South Asian teams to get a seed at Valorant's biggest tournament 'Valorant Champions'. Unlike other regions, South Asian teams do not have the Challengers and the Masters events. Instead, they have to get through the VCC, and only the winner will qualify for APAC LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier). Again, teams from Korea, Japan, East Asia, and the VCC winner will play APAC LCQ, and only the winner will be seeded to the year-end Valorant Champions.
NODWIN Gaming is organising the VCC and the schedule has been revealed finally.
VCC schedule Valorant
The whole tournament has been divided into two parts, open qualifiers and play-offs. A total of seven open qualifiers for different regions and one wildcard event is to be organised before the play-offs. The schedule for each VCC qualifier are as followed:
Wildcard qualifier is scheduled at anytime between 10 - 15 August 2021. Only the finalist teams can participate in the wildcard matches.
Then, the play-offs for the Valorant Conquerors Championship is to be held between 19 to 22 August 2021. Finally, the grand finals are scheduled for 28 - 29 August 2021.
VCC (Valorant Conquerors Championship) prize pool and break-up
The goal behind competing in VCC is to qualify for APAC LCQ, however, the tournament feature a hefty prize pool of $33,000 (approx ), out of which, the winner gets the lion's share of $16,500, while the second and third positions get $8,000 and $3,500 respectively.
VCC tournament structure
The Valorant Conquerors Championship is divided into three phases.
Single elimination B03 matches (All matches will be played B03) the veto structure for maps is given in Rulebook. The Winning team from Each Qualifier qualifies for Grand Final Playoffs. The runners up of each qualifier will qualify for the Wildcard Qualifier.
7 teams from each qualifier will be placed in a Double Elimination Bracket (Random Seeding). The winner moves on to the Grand Final Playoffs as the final Contender.
Grand Final Playoffs
8 Teams are randomly divided into two groups of 4 teams each (Group A and Group B). The teams Compete in GSL Format (Double elimination from each group). The top 2 teams from each group qualify for the Grand Finals.
All matches will be B03.
The top 4 teams will battle in Semi-Finals and Grand Finals. Seeding Procedure for Semi-Finals:
- Winner of Group A vs Runner of Group B
- Winner of Group B vs Runner of Group A
Semi-Finals will be Bo3 and Finals will be B05. The winner goes to VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifiers.
